during my stay, I truly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the great amenities, especially how I could easily stroll to Greenhead Park, which is just over 2 km away, offering beautiful greenery for a relaxing walk or picnic, and the nearby dining options like Pizzeria Napoli and Home are perfect for any meal cravings.

The decor was beautiful, but the bathroom had a lingering unpleasant smell.

We just had the best time! The room was super luxurious and cozy. The staff even decorated it for the birthday surprise, which made it feel extra special. Loved the afternoon tea—so tasty! Just wish the bar had a bigger drink selection. All in all, fantastic vibe and gorgeous decor everywhere!

The moment we arrived, the staff gave us a warm welcome at reception, super friendly and helpful, really set the tone for our stay. Dinner was in this fancy restaurant where we had the tasting menu, every piece was like a revelation, we devoured it all, I mean, truly fantastic food.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but you know what, it felt justified for the experience.

Attending my daughter's wedding here was a delight. The venue was stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The food selection was the highlight—many guests called it the best wedding meal they've ever had! Highly recommend for special occasions.

we loved everything from the decor to the friendly service! the bedroom was so comfy w/ heated flooring and the gym had everything we needed. breakfast was amazin and had big portions. also, there was free electric charging for cars which was a nice touch. honestly, the location is perfect too.

the only downside was that the bar area was a bit empty when we visited and made it lack vibe. The prawn croissant was kinda dry.

The stay was lovely, especially enjoying the amazing dinner and the spacious bathroom that felt like a mini spa! You can also unwind in the beautiful garden or chill on the terrace, which are perfect spots to relax. Just a minor note, it would’ve been nice to bring my own non-alcoholic drink for dinner, but overall, we had a fantastic time! 😊

Loved the room! It had nice touches like a coffee machine and bathrobe. The bathroom even had underfloor heating which was super cozy. The fitness centre was great too for a quick workout. The breakfast was a hit with freshly baked pastries and delicious options to choose from.

The sourdough bread at The Lantern Room was utterly sensational—clearly a highlight of my stay! The luxurious heated flooring in our room made it feel like proper posh living, and the breakfast sizes were more than enough to kickstart the day. No complaints here!

While our stay was mostly fab, the bar area felt a bit too quiet, lacking that vibrant Huddersfield buzz. the prawn croissant was maybe a bit dry for my taste, could do with a touch more love.
